Hello out there! I hope that you all had a wonderful summer. My deepest aplogies for leaving you hanging without so much as a “hello” for the past three months. I suppose an explanation is in order?
My husband and I recently decided to move and purchase a house nearer to my family in Ohio (we used to live in Kentucky). We ended up buying an older home in foreclosure, in order to save money and have the opportunity to renovate things to our liking. When we bought the house at the end of May we thought that it might be a month before we were able to move in. Well, a month went by and we were no where near ready to move in. Not because we hadn’t been working on it, we had been, every waking moment. Time rolled on, and by the end of July we were much closer to being able to move, but the house wasn’t liveable yet, due to some setbacks with the kitchen. Finally by mid-August we were able to move in. Since then we have been busy unpacking, cleaning, and doing a bit more renovating. We are so pleased with the final (well, I use that word very loosely) result.
With this in mind, I hope you will excuse my long absence from this blog. I promise you I had good intentions of posting sooner. Now that we’re in the house and somewhat settled, I can assure you that the posting here at Printables will pick up and become (somewhat) regular again. Stay tuned!
Also, thank you for your patience as the site has been experiencing some technical difficulties…I’m still trying to get all of the bugs worked out.
If you’re interested in seeing pictures of our home renovations, you can visit my personal blog here, where you will find links to all of our renovation posts.

Here at Printables 4 Scrapbooking, my aim is to create beautiful, fun, useful printables for scrapbookers. One thing that would help me improve in this would be to hear from you, my readers. I would love to hear comments or suggestions about what you would like to see more of on this site.
Take a minute and think about it - what do you use the most when scrapbooking? What would you like to see in the future here at Printables 4 Scrapbooking? Quotes? Letter sets? Paper? Clip Art? Headers? Bible verses? I’m even willing to create some custom items if you are looking for a specific Bible verse or quote (though I can’t promise I will always be able to do it!).
Please think about it and either comment on this post or send me a quick email at emilykoneal@gmail.com. All comments are greatly appreciated!

I don’t know about you, but the weather in my part of the world lately has been absolutely crazy. Rainy one day and beautifully sunny the next. I think it’s important to remember that even though the weather may be fickle, we can still have heaps of fun enjoying the outdoors.
Here are a couple of weather related printables - one says “Fun in the Sun” with a smiley sunshine graphic, and the other says “Rainy Day Fun” and has a cheery blue umbrella.
This printable is available in one PDF file (you can print both on the same page and cut them out), and two separate PNG files - one for each graphic.

After the big snow storm this past weekend in most of the northeast, I know that many of you out there have snow photos. Here is some snowflake paper - available in 8×10 and 12×12 sizes. Also, if you don’t want to use this as paper, you could just cut out the snowflakes and use them on the side of your page.
Also, you might want to check out the “Let it Snow” set from last year if you haven’t seen it yet.
